Effective Date: July 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Schoolconomy Inc. (“Schoolconomy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through the Schoolconomy mobile application, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Schoolconomy Inc. legally operates the Service. REGIS Rewards Inc. is Schoolconomy Inc.’s holding company. This Policy applies to students, parents and guardians, teachers, and other users of the Service.
The Service is designed for users from kindergarten through college. A child under 13 may not independently create an account. A parent or legal guardian must create and control the parent account and then create and authorize the child’s student profile as described in Section 4.
This Policy does not govern third-party websites, applications, products, or services that maintain their own privacy practices.
Depending on the account type and features used, we may collect:
When the Service is used, we and our service providers may collect:
Our websites and service providers may use cookies, local storage, software development kits, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, maintain security, measure contextual advertisement and sponsored-content performance, and diagnose technical issues.
We currently do not use mobile advertising identifiers for behavioral advertising. Browser or device controls may limit certain technologies, although parts of the Service may not function properly as a result.
We may use information to:
Schoolconomy does not use grades, report-card images, quiz answers, or other academic information to create behavioral advertising profiles.
Schoolconomy does not provide sponsors with report cards, individual grades, student contact information, or student-level academic histories.
Children under 13 may not independently register for the Service.
A parent or legal guardian must create and control the parent account, receive the applicable children’s privacy notice, provide any authorization or consent required by law, and create or authorize the linked student profile before Schoolconomy collects personal information from the child beyond what the law permits.
For a parent-authorized child profile, Schoolconomy may collect and use:
We use this information to provide the parent-authorized Service, verify activities, issue rewards, maintain safety and security, support users, and comply with applicable law.
We do not condition a child’s participation on providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary for the applicable activity.
A verified parent or guardian may request access to the personal information collected from the child, request correction or deletion, withdraw authorization, refuse further collection, or delete the linked account by using available account controls or contacting us as stated in Section 15.
Withdrawal of authorization or deletion may prevent continued use of some or all features. Points associated with a deleted account are permanently dissolved and cannot be restored.
Schoolconomy does not knowingly use or disclose a child’s personal information for behavioral advertising. We do not disclose a child’s personal information to sponsors for the sponsor’s independent marketing.
We disclose children’s personal information to service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, or fulfill the Service, subject to appropriate restrictions.
Students or parents may submit report-card images and related academic information to verify eligible academic activity. Schools do not currently upload educational records to Schoolconomy.
Schoolconomy personnel authorized for verification, security, support, or legal purposes may access submitted materials. We seek to limit access based on job responsibilities and operational need.
Report cards may contain information beyond what Schoolconomy requests. Users should redact or avoid submitting unnecessary information where the Service permits.
We use academic information to verify activity, administer points and rewards, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and operate the Service.
We do not provide report-card images or individual academic results to sponsors.
The Service may display contextual advertisements, sponsored quizzes, sponsored side quests, or other paid content.
Sponsored content will be identified through a disclosure such as “Sponsored,” “Paid Sponsorship,” or similar language. Current advertisements may be delivered broadly rather than selected through behavioral profiles.
We may award points for completing an eligible sponsored activity or submitting an honest review. A positive review does not receive more points or favorable treatment than a negative review.
Any incentivized review must reflect the user’s honest experience and must disclose the incentive when required. A third-party review platform may prohibit or restrict incentivized reviews. Users and sponsors must comply with the applicable platform’s rules.
Sponsors may receive aggregated or limited campaign measurements, such as:
We do not provide sponsors with report-card images, individual grades, student contact information, or personally identifiable academic histories.
We may establish minimum reporting thresholds or otherwise limit reports to reduce the risk that information could be used to identify an individual student.
We use information to administer points and fulfill rewards.
When a user selects a reward delivered through Tremendous or another fulfillment provider, Schoolconomy may provide the recipient’s name, email address, reward selection, and other information reasonably necessary to deliver and document the reward.
The fulfillment provider processes that information under its own privacy terms and its agreement with Schoolconomy.
Points are governed by our Terms and Conditions. When an account is deleted, associated points are permanently dissolved.
We may retain limited redemption, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute, or legal records after account deletion where reasonably necessary or required by law.
A student profile photograph may be visible to other users or otherwise published through the Service, depending on the feature and account settings.
A parent or guardian controls the submission of a photograph for a child under 13. Users should not upload a photograph unless they have the right and authorization to do so.
Schoolconomy may remove content that violates our terms, creates a safety concern, or infringes another person’s rights.
Publicly visible information may be copied, captured, or redistributed by others outside Schoolconomy’s control. Users and parents should consider this before making a profile photograph available.
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
We may disclose information to hosting, cloud infrastructure, reward fulfillment, communications, analytics, technical support, security, payment, and professional-service providers that process information for us.
We may disclose information to REGIS Rewards Inc. or other controlled affiliates for legitimate administrative, security, compliance, or operational purposes, subject to this Policy and applicable law.
We may provide aggregated or limited performance reporting as described in Section 6.
We do not provide sponsors with report cards, individual grades, or student contact information for independent marketing.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
Information may be disclosed as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or related due diligence, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable children’s privacy requirements.
We may disclose information when the user, parent, or guardian directs us to do so or provides legally sufficient consent.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The Service uses cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services EC2 and S3.
We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, protected transmission, credential protections, monitoring, and other measures appropriate to the nature of the information.
No security method is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Authorized personnel and service providers may access production systems or personal information only to the extent reasonably necessary for assigned functions, such as development, maintenance, verification, security, support, or legal compliance.
Such access is subject to applicable access controls, confidentiality requirements, security requirements, and data-use restrictions.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Retention periods vary based on the information, account relationship, operational need, sensitivity, legal requirements, and whether an issue or dispute remains open.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we take steps to delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it, subject to backup cycles, legal holds, fraud-prevention needs, and other lawful exceptions.
Users may request deletion through available account controls or by contacting us.
A parent or guardian may submit requests concerning a linked child profile. We may take reasonable steps to verify the requester’s identity and authority before acting.
Upon deletion:
Depending on applicable law and the user’s location, a user may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain information; withdraw consent; or appeal certain decisions.
We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party applications, stores, reward providers, or websites.
Their privacy practices apply when users leave Schoolconomy or provide information directly to them. Schoolconomy does not control third-party services.
Before directing a child to an external service, a parent should review that service’s eligibility requirements, terms, and privacy practices.
The Service is operated from the United States.
Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where authorized service providers operate. Users outside the United States should understand that applicable privacy protections may differ.
